Subscription Management

This document explains how QuantumDMN handles subscription lifecycle events including cancellation, upgrades, and downgrades.

Subscription States

State Descriptions

StateDescription
activeSubscription is active and user has full access
canceledUser has canceled but access continues until billing period ends
expiredBilling period ended, access is blocked
deletedData has been permanently deleted after 30 days of inactivity

Cancellation Policy

When a subscription is canceled:

  1. Immediate: Status changes to canceled, cancellation recorded
  2. End of Billing Period: Status changes to expired, access blocked
  3. 30 Days Later: Organization and all data permanently deleted
Reactivation

Users can reactivate their subscription at any time before data deletion. All data is preserved during the grace period.

Upgrades and Downgrades

  • Upgrades: Take effect immediately, new tier limits apply instantly
  • Downgrades: Take effect at next billing cycle
Usage Limits

When downgrading, ensure your current usage is within the new tier's limits, or you may need to reduce projects/definitions first.
